I reused some lines from the intro of my previous light novel attempt.
Keep in mind this is loosely related to Träumerei, despite the change in setting and time period. This novel takes place around 2006-2008.

A lone figure garbed in white stood perched underneath the looming silhouette of a solemn giant no longer affected or mindful of time. Surrounding the silent pilgrim resided resilient sleepers concealed within familiar yet unwelcoming mahogany steel crates. Specks of papery snow flitted through the overarching branches of the ebony elder, as if the sky itself were plunging straight back to earth. Running an ivory hand through her short, raven hair in a futile effort to shake off piercing ice petals, the girl radiated an aura of unease and bafflement. Sighing, the girl’s dreary, ashen-gray eyes gazed languidly at emptiness in an attempt to rid herself of such muddled thoughts.
As if time itself were frozen, forever encased in lock-and-key, not one voice could be seen nor heard. Not one footstep. Not one sound. Glancing up at the all but forsaken stone chapel, the massive, bronze bell burrowed within mounds of ashen dust lay dormant. Swaying back and forth ever so slightly, the somber remnant of tales long deceased bore no dissimilarities to a rotting, unseeing, maggot-infested corpse hanging by its neck from the gallows.
Sensing no meaningful reason as to why she should continue her ragged existence of staring out into a great, bleak expanse of nothing, the girl un-reluctantly absolved herself from her space beneath the grim tree. Dead, gray eyes sparing a quick glance back, the perplexed, lone figure trekked on. Lifting one foot after another clad in fluffy, pallid slippers, the girl searched for an exit beyond the rusting steel cages wrapped around the mourning elder. For the first time in…how long again was it? Momentary light sparked within the girl’s charcoal eyes. Lifting both pale arms towards a gate, the girl was delighted to discover it unguarded…and completely open. No longer looking back, the girl left her dreary, ashen-gray world behind. Realizing the peculiar girl would no longer visit, the elder’s overseeing branches dipped slightly, as if rueful of losing its sole visitor.
Soft, feathery footsteps flittered along the paved, waxen cobblestone road. A faint smile crossed the young girl’s pale face as her dreary past gradually crumpled. Now grinning, the sole loner trudged on, unmindful of all the ruin and decay spread forth around her.
As her bleak life unceasingly dwindled away to nothing, silent, somber steps clattered along in rhythm. Feathery steps abruptly came to a halt. The girl, now unmoving, lay placidly in the middle of the pale ice drenched road, as if she were a caricature in a festive snow globe. Slowly craning her head, charcoal gray eyes widened in surprise.

The girl's name is Rosine...which means 'Raisin.'
((She's 4 years older than Noelz))
I hope you'll grow to care for Ms. 'Snow Fairy.'
She's actually based on a story I had involving twins and lots and lots of death and stuff. I more or less got rid of the plot involving urban legends...which would mean I completely redid the plot. But it's a lot neater now.

Let's see...usual plot is based off of dreams, experiences, etc.
Oh yeah, but this time I got some reference from the Vocaloid song "Two Men of the Hanging Tree" and another tree.

Gonna publish this on Wattpad once I complete a few chapters. I want this to be 4 chapters at most, but that's how the game was supposed to turn out and look at how long it became. XDD
